Spring Film Festival 2017: A Celebration of Chinese Art and Culture

Now on its 11th year, the annual Spring Film Festival would again showcase different forms of art from the Filipino-Chinese community. The five day celebration will be composed of the Gala Night and Chinese Fashion Show, the Film Showing of six featured Chinese films, Chinese Painting Exhibit, Chinese Music Concert, and a Chinese Pastel Painting Workshop.

Organized by the Ateneo De Manila University’s Ricardo Leong Center for Chinese Studies and with the cooperation of Shangri-La Plaza, the films would be screened at the Shang Cineplex Cinema 4 while the programs and activities would be held at the mall’s Grand Atrium. The event would last for five days, from January 25 to 29, just in time for the Chinese New Year.

Admission to the film festival and other activities are open for everyone and is free of admission.
