According to the organizers, the festival aims to bring the Chinese culture nearer to everyone here in the Philippines among the youth of mainstream Filipino society by giving them different activities and a free admission to six films straight from Hong Kong. The organizers also added that the support of the 11th Spring Film Festival was overwhelming because of the great number of people attended the five-day event.

This year’s Spring Film Festival coincides with the 2017 Chinese Lunar New Year so spectators witness the lion and dragon dancers that added a festive vibe to the event.
